Founded in January 2019 as a solo freelance operation by Andrew Johnson of Centerville, Ohio, Riverscape Web has blossomed into a high-end boutique agency equipped by exceptional talent from the U.S. and across the globe. Our ability to create extraordinary products comes from our diversity and global reach, as each team member brings a unique perspective and skill set to the creative process.

Introducing Impress
Traditionally, businesses were forced to choose between $30,000 agency fees or low-quality, "budget" alternatives. At Riverscape Web, we refused to accept that compromise. We developed the Impress Cloud Platform — our proprietary in-house technology — to break the cycle of rising costs and diminishing quality. By automating technical overhead, we've inverted the industry standard: delivering superior, high-performance websites at a price point that makes sense for growing small businesses.
While Impress meets the needs of most use-cases, we still provide more traditional custom development services for more complex needs.

Andrew Johnson
Founder

With 25 years in the technology sector, Andrew has built a career that spans the full spectrum of leadership and execution. From lead systems, network, and software engineering roles to CTO, and now Founder, he operates with a dual vision: fluent in both deep technical architecture as well as high-level strategic direction.
Over the course of his career, Andrew has engineered software adopted by Fortune 500 companies, authored encryption code used by tens of thousands of developers worldwide, and written technical articles featured in Smashing Magazine. He has helped scale local startups from teams of three to thriving organizations of more than forty, architected SaaS platforms for defense contractors, and most recently launched his own flagship product, the Impress Cloud Platform.
Andrew doesn't just build technology — he builds systems, companies, and momentum.
Personal
Outside of his professional life, Andrew's greatest joy is time spent with his wife, Jenita, and their daughter, Grace. He's happiest outdoors — whether gathered around a campfire or exploring new places — and values the balance and perspective that nature brings. Andrew also has a longstanding appreciation for BMWs and motorcycles, a passion that reflects his love of engineering, performance, and craftsmanship.
As his company continues to grow, he looks forward to dedicating more time and resources to philanthropy.
Ankit Kumar
Lead Product Designer

In 2023, Ankit's "pixel-perfect" philosophy stood out when he met Andrew in Ahmedabad while contracting on a large-scale SaaS project. The two discovered an immediate professional synergy, finding a rare rhythm where high-level design and complex code moved in lockstep.
Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Product & Industrial Design, Ankit brings a unique structural perspective to the digital world, treating every interface with the same physical intentionality as a tangible product. Today, he bridges borders and time zones contracting for Riverscape Web, leading his own global design team toward the next generation of digital excellence.

Ankit is a strategist at heart, naturally drawn to the intersection of precision and play. Whether he's navigating digital environments or deconstructing a complex system to see what makes it tick, he finds his flow in the "how" behind the "why." This analytical rigor is balanced by a deep-seated passion for the fine arts; as a painter, Ankit brings a creative soul to his technical pursuits, finding a unique harmony between the deliberate, expressive strokes on a canvas and the logical structures of a digital interface.
This drive for intentionality defines his physical world as much as his creative one. Ankit is a relentless optimizer, perpetually fine-tuning his setup and workflow until every element feels both powerful and seamless. For him, a clean, well-thought-out environment—much like a well-composed painting—isn't just an aesthetic choice; it's a prerequisite for mastery. He isn't interested in the superficial; he is motivated by the personal win of taking a system, or a blank canvas, and refining it until it's sharper, more beautiful, and exactly right.

From fresh insights to rapid-fire solutions, Jenita doesn't just fill a role — she's the go-to for sparking new ideas and untangling complex challenges across every department.
